A Attendees comment from Perth "How To Apply The Secret"
A really nice comment from a woman who attended our How To Apply The Secret event in Perth on Tuesday:
I attended you Seminar in Perth yesterday and I feel it may be a turning point in my life.
As you may be aware I was a late applicant due to the mind vs. the heart ( soul). In the end I went against all my “common sense” ( income and friends advice) and took the day of from work without pay and drove up to Perth to attend your seminar.
After listening to you I realized that I had definitely made the right decision and thank you very much for coming to Western Australia and sharing your knowledge. I will follow your advice and follow the three steps in my life and I look forward to a prosperous and fantastic life.
I was fortunate enough to have a 6 hour drive home where I could listen to your c.d. as well as “The Secret”. I then set my specific goals and went to bed feeling that I had achieved something in life.
... Many thanks again for you time and sharing your life story of how you become successful. I appreciate the encouragement and guidelines you gave all of us on the day.

Hi from Perth, Australia
We have just finished the "How To Apply The Secret" seminar in Perth. It has been an extremely successful tour, starting 4 weeks ago in Wellington, New Zealand and ending up in Perth, Australia.
I will post up some of the comments by attendees over the next few weeks. Here is one from Karen Kotze, a journalist in New Zealand:
"Recognising the poverty consciousness that we have inherited is old hat, but being given the tools to affect changes in our world is priceless!! What a great gift for ourselves, the economy – and our children’s children in all aspects!! Many thanks to all involved."
Today's thought: "What lies behind us and what lies before us pales in comparison to what lies within us". Ralph Waldo Emerson

The Secret
We are so proud to say that after every event we had people tell us how the information transformed their lives. That even though they had attended many other events and read numerous books, they now understand for the first time how the Law Of Attraction works and how to really apply The Secret.

An amazing week
What an amazing week this last 7 days has been.
I have seen and felt an incredible surge of energy and confidence in and around me. Even an ABSOLUTE KNOWING more than I have felt before. I know with absolutely certainty if one remains focused on their vision, ALL obstacles MUST give way or totally disappear. That is universal law (and God's law), regardless of what or who tries to stop you.
Over the past few days I have received more emails of love and support then ever before, not just from students and past seminar attendees, but from people right across the world. The ACA exposure has really blessed us and I am truely grateful for what they have done. I don't think those people who accused me of some wrong doing or the journalists who continue to lie, not present the truth they have been provided and attempt to deceive the masses with their propaganda could have possibly forseen the huge benefits that would flow on to me and us.
Initially I felt a range of emotions that often one would normally experience when wrongly accused, lied to and cheated on. With the support of family, friends, students, strangers and my understanding of The Secret and The Law of Attraction I remained focused just on that massive positive benefits that must come from such adversity and did my best to lay all negative thoughts aside.
My wife and I had dinner at a beautiful restaurant tonight with my son Matthew and his friend Kristen (cause Kristen is heading back home to Canada tomorrow!) Matthew looks after our websites and he asked me if anything unusal happened last week (he didn't know about another attempt by ACA to discredit me). When I asked why he said that our websites experienced over 1,000% increase in traffic each day since Thursday! WOOHOO!
This flowed directly through to more online enquiries, more clients and more sales. A BIG thank you to ALL who have helped!!

David Schirmer on ACA and Close Up ... again
I found out recently that the gutter journalists are at it again. Yes, I'm going to be on national TV ... again.
This has now become quite a joke. Imagine me, an ex-farmer from North Queensland being so important that I get on national TV four times ... well ... international TV now as well, as the gutter journalist got his friend involved from New Zealand.
Either The Secret must be a huge threat to these people or I must be, or they are bound up in hatred and revenge for reasons only known to themselves ... to spend so much prime time on me in simply amazing.
And I'm not complaining either ... I'm actually pretty excited.
When ACA first ran their gutter journalism story based on a scandalous revengeful attack from a journalist who never did proper research and was only interested in negative stories, we saw the hits on our websites skyrocket ... and sales increase.
We got emails from around the world supporting and encouraging me to keep sharing the message of abundance, transforming people's lives and giving them hope. Thankfully there are a lot of people who don't believe the trash on current affair type shows.
Each attack only increases my resolve to be the best I can be, to stand up for what is the truth, and the tell individuals around the world how the Law of Attraction works.
Zig Ziglar, a world renowned speaker and author once said, "Don't be distracted by criticism. Remember the only taste of success some people have is when they take a bite out of you." I have learnt how true that is from a small group of people who can only criticise.
I asked the journalist in the first interview had he ever watched The Secret ... he hadn't ... yet he was so willing to rubbish it and pull it down. Imagine what amazing good could be done in Australia, New Zealand and around the world if shows like Current Affair and Close Up where to actually promote The Secret ... what would happen if an entire country understood and believed in abundance and The Law of Attraction rather then poverty and lack?
As for the effect the journalists and interviewees are bringing upon themselves, I wouldn't want to be one of them, especially the woman who is phoning up people to try to get them to go on the show for her own anger and revenge. Napoleon Hill said in his classic "Think and Grow Rich" that there are 7 major negative emotions to be avoided:
Fear
Jealously
Hatred
Revenge
Greed
Superstition
Anger
"Positive and negative emotions cannot occupy the mind at the same time." And we ALWAYS attract the thing we focus on with emotion. Having hatred, jealously, revenge and anger against someone else, regardless of the reason, is like throwing a handful of dry sand into the wind blowing towards you.
I'm looking forward to lots more hits on our websites ... I love these guys.
Go to http://www.theabcofgettingrich.com/ shortly to download FREE a full copy on MP3 of my world famous seminar The Science Of Getting Rich ... recorded live in Sydney November 9-11, 2007. It was life changing ... you will love it.

In September 1960
Today I received this from one of our Inner Circle MasterMinds, David & Carol Hurst from near Toowoomba in Australia. A wonderful message:
In September 1960, I woke up one morning with six hungry babies and just 75 cents in my pocket.
Their father was gone.
The boys ranged from three months to seven years; their sister was two. Their Dad had never been much more than a presence they feared. Whenever they heard his tires crunch on the gravel driveway they would scramble to hide under their beds. He did manage to leave $15 a week to buy groceries.
Now that he had decided to leave, there would be no more beatings, but no food either.
If there was a welfare system in effect in southern Indiana at that time, I certainly knew nothing about it. I scrubbed the kids until they looked brand new and then put on my best homemade dress, loaded them into the rusty old 51 Chevy and drove off to find a job.
The seven of us went to every factory, store and restaurant in our small town. No luck.
The kids stayed crammed into the car and tried to be quiet while I tried to convince who ever would listen that I was willing to learn or do anything. I had to have a job. Still no luck.
The last place we went to, just a few miles out of town, was an old Root Beer Barrel drive-in that had been converted to a truck stop. It was called the Big Wheel. An old lady named Granny owned the place and she peeked out of the window from time to time at all those kids.
She needed someone on the graveyard shift, 11 at night until seven in the morning. She paid 65 cents an hour, and I could start that night.
I raced home and called the teenager down the street that baby-sat for people. I bargained with her to come and sleep on my sofa for a dollar a night. She could arrive with her pajamas on and the kids would already be asleep. This seemed like a good arrangement to her, so we made a deal.
That night when the little ones and I knelt to say our prayers, we all thanked God for finding Mommy a job. And so I started at the Big Wheel. When I got home in the mornings I woke the baby-sitter up and sent her home with one dollar of my tip money - fully half of what I averaged every night.
As the weeks went by, heating bills added a strain to my meager wage. The tires on the old Chevy had the consistency of penny balloons and began to leak. I had to fill them with air on the way to work and again every morning before I could go home.
One bleak fall morning, I dragged myself to the car to go home and found four tires in the back seat. New tires!
There was no note, no nothing, just those beautiful brand new tires. Had angels taken up residence in Indiana? I wondered.
I made a deal with the local service station. In exchange for his mounting the new tires, I would clean up his office. I remember it took me a lot longer to scrub his floor than it did for him to do the tires.
I was now working six nights instead of five and it still wasn't enough. Christmas was coming and I knew there would be no money for toys for the kids. I found a can of red paint and started repairing and painting some old toys. Then I hid them in the basement so there would be something for Santa to deliver on Christmas morning.
Clothes were a worry too. I was sewing patches on top of patches on the boys pants and soon they would be too far gone to repair.
On Christmas Eve the usual customers were drinking coffee in the Big Wheel. There were the truckers, Les, Frank, and Jim, and a state trooper named Joe. A few musicians were hanging around after a gig at the Legion and were dropping nickels in the pinball machine. The regulars all just sat around and talked through the wee hours of the morning and then left to get home before the sun came up.
When it was time for me to go home at seven o'clock on Christmas morning, to my amazement, my old battered Chevy was filled full to the top with boxes of all shapes and sizes. I quickly opened the driver's side door, crawled inside and kneeled in the front facing the back seat.
Reaching back, I pulled off the lid of the top box. Inside was whole case of little blue jeans, sizes 2-10! I looked inside another box: It was full of shirts to go with the jeans. Then I peeked inside some of the other boxes. There was candy and nuts and bananas and bags of groceries. There was an enormous ham for baking, and canned vegetables and potatoes. There was pudding and Jell-O and cookies, pie filling and flour. There was whole bag of laundry supplies and cleaning items. And there were five toy trucks and one beautiful little doll.
As I drove back through empty streets as the sun slowly rose on the most amazing Christmas Day of my life, I was sobbing with gratitude. And I will never forget the joy on the faces of my little ones that precious morning.
Yes, there were angels in Indiana that long-ago December. And they all hung out at the Big Wheel truck stop.... THE POWER OF PRAYER.
I believe that God only gives three answers to prayer:
1. "Yes!"
2. "Not yet."
3. "I have something better in mind."
God still sits on the throne, the devil is a liar.
You maybe going through a tough time right now but God is getting ready to bless you in a way that you cannot imagine.
Thank you to all who have shared this message to make sure it got to me.

Wealth is a Mindset
A friend recently said to me that his money challenges were overwhelming! We need to be very careful of the language we use as it shapes our destiny. The word overwhelming means "so strong as to be irresistible." Poverty or lack is NEVER irresistible, it is a choice we make not something that comes upon us or happens to us. Money is a servant, NEVER speak of it as a master! Here is my reply:
The lack of money is not overwhelming ... challenging, annoying, an inconvienence, but not overwhelming!! Money is an energy that is constantly flowing ... sometimes we find ourselves swimming against the flow ... and sometimes that flow is a tidal wave, instead of fighting it we need to grab a surf board and ride it. Be grateful for the experience and the learnings that allow you to be able to relate to others in similar situations in the future, now turn and ride the wave and enjoy the moment.
If money can fix it, it is not a problem!! Lots of people have problems that money can't fix.

How To Catch Wild Pigs
My friend Bruce Mackie from Canberra sent me this - I think it is a great example of the mediocrity that is now accepted in the western culture.
There was a Chemistry professor in a large college that had some foreign exchange students in the class. One day while the class was in the lab the Professor noticed one young man, an exchange student, who kept rubbing his back and stretching as if his back hurt. The professor asked the young man what was the matter.
The student told him he had a bullet lodged in his back. He had been shot while fighting communists in his native country who were trying to overthrow his country's government and install a new communist government.
In the midst of his story he looked at the professor and asked a strange question. He asked, “Do you know how to catch wild pigs?" The professor thought it was a joke and asked for the punch line. The young man said this was no joke."You catch wild pigs by finding a suitable place in the woods and putting corn on the ground. The pigs find it and begin to come everyday to eat the free corn.
When they are used to coming every day, you put a fence down one side of the place where they are used to coming. When they get used to the fence, they begin to eat the corn again and you put up another side of the fence. They get used to that and start to eat again. You continue until you have all four sides of the fence up with a gate in the last side. The pigs, who are used to the free corn, start to come through the gate to eat, you slam the gate on them and catch the whole herd. Suddenly the wild pigs have lost their freedom. They run around and around inside the fence, but they are caught. Soon they go back to eating the free corn. They are so used to it that they have forgotten how to forage in the woods for themselves, so they accept their captivity.
The young man then told the professor that is exactly what he sees happening to America. The government keeps pushing us toward Communism/Socialism and keeps spreading the free corn out in the form of programs such as supplemental income, tax credit for unearned income, tobacco subsidies, dairy subsidies, payments not to plant crops (CRP), welfare, medicine, drugs, etc, while we continually lose our freedoms- just a little at a time.
One should always remember "There is no such thing as a free lunch!"
Also remember you can never hire someone to provide a service for you cheaper than you can do it yourself. If you see that all of this wonderful government "help" is a problem confronting the future of democracy in America, you might want to send this on to your friends. If you think the free ride is essential to your way of life then you will probably ignore this, but God help you when the gate slams shut!
Thanks Bruce ... great food for thought.

God and the law of attraction
I receive numerous emails every day regarding The Secret, how to apply it, do I agree with it all etc. I received one today from a friend so I thought I would share with you both her email and my response. It follows on from an earlier blog I posted about Christians & The Secret I:
Email received:
Thank you so much for attention to this matter. In one of my emails I asked Dr. Wolf if he was a christian? and he stated that it didn't matter. I believe in the Secret and have shared it with many many people. I believe it would be a benefit to Christian's to hear more about God & the secret. I first want to say that I am a Christian and I love all people and I believe like God everyone has a choice to to worship who and what they want. I personally believe that the LOA taught me that God loves me and it took away the mean vengeful God who I feared and got mad with (like with my mother). It has brought me closer to God then any sermon ever has. Well let me correct that it made me more open to hear the Sermon and to feel God's love.
I would like to hear more about your opinion on God & the LOA. One of his laws. The book that I read called the " the Secret things of God" by Dr. Henry Cloud really doesn't disagree with alot of the secret. I believe that "ALL THINGS WORK FOR THE GOOD OF GOD." and the secret can be used to bring people closer to God. I was first a baptized Catholic & now I am born again and I just couldn't get that God would send Jesus to die on the cross and shed his blood so that we can be miserable. I can tell you most Christians are miserable. If I could just help by expressing that God's love is everywhere and open people up to just being happy then they can really praise God.
My response:
I am a born again Christian and know that God’s desire is abundance for his children … that means abundance in health, money, love, relationships, knowledge, happiness … everything. (Mark 9:23 - Jesus said to him, "If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes.")
Jesus showed us many miracles then he said "I can guarantee this truth: Those who believe in me will do the things that I am doing. They will do even greater things because I am going to the Father.." (John 14:12) … so the only thing that stops Christians from healing the sick, raising the dead, walking on water, calming the seas, casting devils out and heaps more is their lack of faith and belief, which is simply a lack of understanding.
God is the giver of all good and has infinite abundance at His command, we as his children suffer in poverty, sickness, loneliness etc because we either don’t ask, don’t know how to ask or simply don’t believe. Jesus said “When you pray, pray believing that you already have it and it will be yours.” (Mark 11, 24) I find through ignorance of this verse and the ignorance of the greatness of our God, many pray 'wanting' rather than already having. For example, a person who is in lack financially will normally pray “God help me, I need some money”; they should be praying like Jesus said as if they already have received it “Thank you God for this abundance of finances that you have blessed me with” … and believe it.
The Secret talks a lot about manifesting, it doesn’t explain much about actions. The process of manifesting on the physical plane is always the same: thoughts + feelings + actions = results
- Create it in thought;
- Turn it over to spirit (Let go and let God);
- Expect with all your heart and soul, which means act in accordance to your faith that you already have it.
On another note, Neale Donald Walshe states on The Secret “Your life will be what you create it as, and no one will stand in judgment of it, now or ever.” I’m not sure what Neale means but what I do know is God’s word tells us there is a judgement and that everyone will be accountable for their actions. Through the grace of God Jesus died on the cross as the only sinless man ever, and he took away all our sins so that we could know God’s love and abundance here and now and for all eternity. Those who refuse to accept Jesus as their Lord and Saviour here in this life will not enter into the promise of everlasting peace and happiness with God.
That’s my understanding.

The Secret is a nothing mare than a sales gimmick?
I received an email today quoting one of The Secret teachers saying that the Law Of Attraction (LOA) is nothing more than a sales gimmick! Following was my response:
My part on The Secret was small, however the part I played in bringing it about was somewhat integral I believe.
My life story is quite long and not room nor time to share it here. In summary I was broke, uneducated, unemployed, had a wife and 4 children, about to be evicted from our rented home, phone disconnected, driving around in an unregistered car and over $50,000 in debt. Today my family and I enjoy our beautiful home, drive nice cars, travel the world and help millions of people ... it doesn't matter how you explain it, it still is a miracle (A miracle being something other than what is explainable by science on the physical realm).
The words "Law of Attraction" or "The Secret" is a term or phrase for a universal principle. Napoleon Hill in his writings called it the secret; Wallace D Wattles in The Science of Getting Rich called it "The one great law - Energy is" and also referred to the law of vibration which explains LOA; the Bible states "As you sow so shall you reap", also "as a man thinketh in his heart so is he" (also quoted by James Allen) ... the heart being translated from original text as the 'other than conscious mind'.
For the lay person that does not desire to study quantum physics or have an understanding of metaphysics, the Law Of Attraction or The Secret is a great basic understanding to start people thinking differently and cause the masses to attract abundance into their lives. What a breakthrough!!!
Is it a marketing gimmick? In my humble opinion ... absolutely not.
It is amazing how much flak The Secret has got claiming the whole thing was a deliberate marketing strategy put together by Rhonda Byrne and associates. That is so far from the truth. I was there from almost the beginning of The Secret DVD, Rhonda heard of my own LOA story through someone else, I gave Rhonda Byrne copies of CD's, books, DVD's and material on LOA including much of Bob Proctor's material, I passed on Bob Proctor's cell phone number to Rhonda which started a chain of interviews across the United States.
I saw some of the seemingly impossible challenges that Rhonda and the Prime Time Production team faced during the creation of The Secret, from funding to getting it into the market. Had Rhonda and the team not totally believed in the LOA, and used it every day I have no doubt that we would not be having this discussion as there would be no Secret DVD.
What people don't realise is that every plan that Rhonda had to market The Secret DVD didn't work!!! She faced road block after road block ... however, she remained fixed on taking the message to the world, the universe provided the best method possible. People now look at The Secret marketing and study it as an amazing marketing model ... yet they still don't get it. It has nothing to do with marketing strategy and everything to do with one person holding true to an image in their mind and the universe providing the best, most effective, most efficient way of delivering that image on the physical plane.
I agree with Dr Fred Alan Wolf that The Secret DVD is not complete ... how can it be as there is so much to tell and the DVD is only 89 minutes long. The Secret is missing most of the other laws that are intertwined in the LOA, plus is misses the important component of Action ... our part in the LOA ... plus God, the unseen, omnipotent, omnipresent and omniscient force.
The interesting thing is you can look at all that The Secret isn't and what it is missing and you will find it, or you can look at all The Secret is and what it delivers ... and you will find that to!!
The Secret will always have its naysayer and those who seek to pull it down. (One of the six basic human needs that we all need to feel is significance - some people do that by creating, for example, building a taller building; others get significance by destroying, for example, knocking others down so that their building is taller. A few create while many still compete and destroy.)
Whatever can be said against The Secret and those who are on it, it has and is changing the world for the better by increasing the awareness of the masses through understanding that:

The Fire Walk with Tony Robbins
The Fire Walk ...
It is difficult to explain the first fire walk you ever do. This one at UPW (Unleash the Power Within) with Tony Robbins was about 12 feet long (3.5 metres).
Tony had spent hours with us getting us into the right state to walk across red hot coals without getting charred bloody stumps (burnt feet!) We had spent hours closing our eyes and visualising the celebration after we achieved the impossible. We learnt how to chant 'cool moss, cool moss, cool moss' as we walked on the imaginary hot coals. Now we were ready ... apparently!
We all streamed out into the huge car park ... and there lay in front of us 12 rows of red hot coals. We lined up in rows in front of the coals with our buddy (who I didn't know from a bar of soap), all chanting 'Cool moss, cool moss'.
Tony's instructions were that when we got to our turn, an assistant would be there to make sure we were in 'state', when they thought we were they would say 'go'. We then had to walk the coals at a steady pace with our head held high, once we were off the coals we had to wipe our feet and celebrate.
I wasn't going first ... just in case!!
Finally I got to the front of the line ... it was my turn! I had noticed that after every few people that walked across, men came with wheel barrows and shoveled more hot coals on. At least a few people had been across before me since new coals where added so hopefully it was a little cooler. Right then the assistant yelled "Halt ... Fresh coals please!" Mine were fresh hot ones!!!
I focused on a spot way ahead (as we were told to do) and I chanted 'Cool moss, cool moss'. There was this little voice in my head saying "Are you crazy? You're not ready yet!!" The next thing I hear is the assistant saying 'GO'.
I thought 'What ... me???' And off I strode across red hot coals!
It felt just like walking on course gravel. Had the guys at the end not caught me and yelled "STOP ... wipe your feet ... and celebrate," I'm sure I would have ended up all the way to Bondi Beach.
After walking across the coals people were jumping up and down and yelling and screaming. I didn't!
I thought "Hmmmm ... now that's interesting ... how did that just happen?"
Now some people will tell you it's an illusion, or the coal are not hot, or that it is not possible. Here is what I do know - I have walked the hot coals at UPW now eighth times ... it is real and they are HOT. If you are not in focus you will get burnt! So why do it?
Good question! As Tony says, the fire walk is a metaphor. It taught me many things:
- The physical is ALWAYS rules by thought; nothing can happen on the physical plane until or unless it first happens in the thought plane;
- The power of focus will get you through even the most seemingly impossible obstacles;
- The longer you lose your focus during extreme challenges, the more you get burnt (I learned that the second time I fire walked!)
- There is no such thing as impossible;
- Many people let fear rule their lives and often don't even attempt what seems impossible;
- When I'm absolutely focused, little can stop me.
There are other lessons I learned, most importantly when I come up against seemingly impossible challenges I think back to my first firewalk and draw on a strength and power of focus that I never knew existed.

My first day with Tony Robbins
I had no money expect what was in my pocket - just enough to pay for my ticket a Tony Robbins event, pay something towards very cheap accommodation and buy enough groceries to last 4 days.
I walked up to the registration desk, they checked off my name and noticed I hadn't paid yet! (This was a prepaid ticketed event, everyone else had already paid for their tickets, I had convinced the salesperson other the phone that I would be there with the cash ... I had no credit card and didn't know how I was going to get the money) I handed them my few dollars, proud that I could be there, excited by what I might learn and scared knowing that I had to go back to my miserable poverty existence afterwards.
The helper at the desk asked me to read and sign the 'Disclaimer' ... the WHAT!! The disclaimer to say if I burnt my feet off walking on the red hot coals during the firewalk on the first night that Tony Robbins wasn't responsible!
Well, I thought he must have done it before and people survived, so I'd give it a shot ... I signed the form ... In any case, I was here to play full out for me, I didn't care what others came for, this was my last chance to figure out success.
I got to the entry doors early, I wanted to be first in and get the best seats. I had purchased Gold tickets which are the cheapest seats up the back ... so I was getting the best of the cheap seats! We waited and waited ... the crowd grew larger and larger until I could only see a sea of heads. The music started and a few of Robbins volunteers came out to dance and clap and get everyone excited.
I just wanted to go in ... I wasn't into this dancing and clapping stuff ... but since I was here to play full out after a while I joined in. When we finally got inside it was like one huge dance fest! And hug fest I might add! Now that was interesting for me ... a shy, reserved country boy getting hugs from these over zealous city folk ... it really tested my personal space issues. I never hugged anyone other than my family before; I'm not a 'touchy feely' person!
Tony finally came out in to the stage ... danced, clapped, jumped up and down ... got everyone else dancing, clapping and jumping up and down. Oh, by the way ... I had never danced before either!!! Some people sat in their seats and didn't participate; I was here to get everything I could so I played full out no matter how uncomfortable I was.
From that point on I did everything Tony said, wrote down every word I could ... just trying to absorb every last ounce of information. Then about 1:30am ...
... The Firewalk!!! (read my next Blog)

My amazing journey with Tony Robbins that most people don't know about
It is 7:53am Friday morning, September 7, 2007 ... I'm sitting at my desk with a cup of tea and just getting mentally ready for a new day.
Warren, our newest team member, said to me yesterday "I am amazed how quickly you manifest things. You discuss an idea one day and the next day people are calling you with exactly what you need!" This has happened over and over again recently.
Sometimes I forget how amazing the Law of Attraction is and how quickly it does work. It got me thinking about where my journey began. Here is some of my story that few people know:
Many people know that Bob Proctor had a big influence in my life and that I have been studying his Born Rich program now for over a decade - so much so that I teach the You Were Born Rich workshop. And because of that I introduced the producer of The Secret, Rhonda Byrne, to Bob Proctor when The Secret was produced in 2005. What most people don’t know is the other mentors that helped me along this journey - one person who had the biggest impact on my life was Tony Robbins.
In 1995 I had no money, massive debt, no job, no education or qualification, behind in rent and driving an unregistered car. I went to a Bob Proctor seminar and I really struggled with the fact that it was ok to be rich!! The Facilitator, Andres Johanssen, suggested I read two books, Dynamic Laws of Prosperity by Catherine Ponder and Awaken the Giant Within by Anthony Robbins. Apparently he saw something in me I didn’t see myself.
I read "Awaken The Giant Within" and immediately decided to get to his seminar ... I didn't care how much it cost or where in the world it was, I just knew I had to be there and I would find a way.
I then found out that Tony was coming to Australia in 3 months time!! I had to be there … I didn't know how, but I had to be there. Isn't it interesting that when you make something an absolute MUST, you achieve it.
I had already learnt that your life in five years time will be exactly the same as it is today except for the people you meet, the books you read and the tapes (CD's) you listen to. So I had to meet Tony Robbins.
The cheapest ticket to attend Tony Robbins UPW (Unleash the Power Within event) was $895 ... I didn't have $89!! I was also living in Toowoomba, Queensland at the time ... that is about 9 hours drive away from where Tony was running his event in Sydney or a $600 plane ticket (the price of a plane fare at that time).
I boldly approached some friends - a wonderful older couple, Cliff & Shirley Robinson, they lent me their nearly new car, and then three friends decided to make the journey with me ... they would pay for the fuel. I just have to find $895 for the ticket and somewhere to sleep.
I approached a company to do some sales work. Just before UPW I sold enough products to earn $1,100 in commission - the day before we had to leave I received my commission money. I literally arrived at UPW registration in Sydney with the money in my hand to pay for my ticket. We found a really cheap hotel accommodation near Randwick - $29/night ... shared bathroom and shared cockroaches!
You might be asking what happens at a Tony Robbins UPW 4-day event! I have had hundreds of people ask me that same question over the years and my answer is still the same:
"I can't really explain it all … just be there, it will change your life"
Ok, how has it changed mine?
Here are just a fewof things that come to mind:
- Prior to attending I earned a taxable income of just under $5,000 for the whole 12 months; I came back home and I earned $10,000 in one month!!!! That’s a 2,400% increase in income!
- I started working for a company that gave me a stable income and good lifestyle for the next 3 years.
- A Robbins Consultant gave me the kick up the backside that caused me to start up Trading Edge ... our stock market education company that has turned over many millions and is now know around the world.
- Within 5 years of attending UPW our new business turned over $1,000,000 in a year.
There are many, many more things I could put on the list ... you see, I got such an amazing result after I attended the first time I decided to go back 18 months later. Then we doubled our income again so I went back the third time ... I have attended UPW seven times ... this year will be my eighth!
I figure this ... If Tony Robbins is worth $250 million plus and I’m not, then he can still teach me stuff.
I hope this inspires you to do whatever you can, drop everything else in your life and get there ... it will make a massive difference.
I have arranged with Tony's company here in Australia something extra special.
We have sent hundreds of people along to listen to Tony over the past 12 years so I decided to get some incredible tickets at a ridiculous price.
Two tickets to Tony Robbins UPW is now $2,990.00. I have secured 30 tickets only at $747.50/person* (You SAVE $1,495 for two tickets - that’s less than what I paid in 1995!!) as a special thank you for any of our clients who would like to attend. I promise you ...
... Life will NEVER be the same again!
Click here to find out more ... the site may take a short while to load but it is worth the wait ... it has a couple of great videos that will inspire you.
Enjoy,
David Schirmer
P.S. If you are in some other part of the world reading this (other than Australia), go to Tony Robbins website to find out where he will be.
P.P.S. If you want to know more of my story with Tony ... read my blog over the coming week

The Secret To Wealth
A couple of years ago I was asked to speak at Business City SWAP, in Sydney Australia. This is a group of people that get together and swap (share) ideas about success, personal development and motivation.
I spoke for about 35 minutes ... I thought you might like to listen in as I share The Secrets To Wealth Creation.

Changing The World ... One Person At A Time
It is so easy to fall into the trap of thinking that people understand what we know! I certainly am guilty of that ...
I was sitting in the Coffee Club in Ringwood enjoying a latte with my good friends Pastors John & Eileen Brown ... I met John & Eileen through The Secret somehow (sitting in the Coffee Club one morning) and found out that they have been sharing the message of Abundance and Law Of Attraction at their Word Family Church of many years - same message, based on the Bible and God as it's foundation (which I believe it must be).
As we were sitting there chatting, a couple in there late 50's walked up and said 'hello' ... they were friends of John and Eileen's and hadn't seen them for some time. We got talking and the lady (Sonia I think!) started to share her vision she had just received - to teach personal development in schools, churches and the community.
Of course I assumed Sonia had read personal development books or had been to seminars, and I was sure that if she was into personal development she would have seen The Secret ... so I asked! To my amazement Sonia hadn't even heard of The Secret.
So I asked if she knew some of the great personal development Techers ... I rattled off some of the people who had changed my life ... Zig Ziglar, James Rohn, Tony Robbins, Bob Proctor, Denis Waitley etc. Guess what? Sonia hadn't heard of any of these people.
It reminded me of just how much work there is left to do. Sometimes I'm in awe of the millions of people who have watced The Secret, the people who stop me in the middle of the street to say "thank you" (and "Don't let those negative bastards get to you"), those who have attended our seminars, the emails and letters we get just saying "You have changed my life, keep doing what you are doing" ... then I realise maybe 10-20 million people have seen The Secret around the world ... out of 6 billion!!!!
Eileen shared on Sunday that we change the world one person at a time ... that is so true!
Yes, we have much to do.

Whose Life Have You Touched Today?
The Old Phone
"When I was quite young, my father had one of the first telephones in our neighbourhood. I remember the polished, old case fastened to the wall. The shiny receiver hung on the side of the box. I was too little to reach the telephone, but used to listen with fascination when my mother talked to it.
Then I discovered that somewhere inside the wonderful device lived an amazing person. Her name was "Information Please" and there was nothing she did not know. Information Please could supply anyone's number and the correct time.
My personal experience with the genie-in-a-bottle came one day while my mother was visiting a neighbour. Amusing myself at the tool bench in the basement, I whacked my finger with a hammer, the pain was terrible, but there seemed no point in crying because there was no one home to give sympathy.
I walked around the house sucking my throbbing finger, finally arriving at the stairway. The telephone! Quickly, I ran for the footstool in the parlour and dragged it to the landing. Climbing up, I unhooked the receiver in the parlour and held it to my ear. "Information, please" I said into the mouthpiece just above my head.
A click or two and a small clear voice spoke into my ear. "Information."
"I hurt my finger...." I wailed into the phone, the tears came readily enough now that I had an audience.
"Isn't your mother home?" came the question.
"Nobody's home but me," I blubbered.
"Are you bleeding?" the voice asked.
"No," I replied. "I hit my finger with the hammer and it hurts."
"Can you open the icebox?" she asked.
I said I could.
"Then chip off a little bit of ice and hold it to your finger," said the voice.
After that, I called "Information Please" for everything. I asked her for help with my geography, and she told me where Philadelphia was. She helped me with my math. She told me my pet chipmunk that I had caught in the park just the day before, would eat fruit and nuts.
Then, there was the time Petey, our pet canary, died. I called, "Information Please," and told her the sad story. She listened, and then said things grown-ups say to soothe a child. But I was not consoled.
I asked her, "Why is it that birds should sing so beautifully and bring joy to all families, only to end up as a heap of feathers on the bottom of a cage?"
She must have sensed my deep concern, for she said quietly, "Wayne always remember that there are other worlds to sing in."
Somehow I felt better.
Another day I was on the telephone, "Information Please."
"Information," said in the now familiar voice.
"How do I spell fix?" I asked.
All this took place in a small town in the Pacific Northwest. When I was nine years old, we moved across the country to Boston. I missed my friend very much. "Information Please" belonged in that old wooden box back home and I somehow never thought of trying the shiny new phone that sat on the table in the hall. As I grew into my teens, the memories of those childhood conversations never really left me.
Often, in moments of doubt and perplexity I would recall the serene sense of security I had then. I appreciated now how patient, understanding, and kind she was to have spent her time on a little boy.
A few years later, on my way west to college, my plane put down in Seattle. I had about a half-hour or so between planes. I spent 15 minutes or so on the phone with my sister, who lived there now. Then without thinking what I was doing, I dialled my hometown Operator and said, "Information Please."
Miraculously, I heard the small, clear voice I knew so well. "Information."
I hadn't planned this, but I heard myself saying, "Could you please tell me how to spell fix?"
There was a long pause. Then came the soft spoken answer, "I guess your finger must have healed by now."
I laughed, "So it's really you," I said. "I wonder if you have any idea how much you meant to me during that time?"
"I wonder," she said, "if you know how much your calls meant to me. I never had any children and I used to look forward to your calls."
I told her how often I had thought of her over the years and I asked if I could call her again when I came back to visit my sister.
"Please do", she said. "Just ask for Sally."
Three months later I was back in Seattle. A different voice answered "Information." I asked for Sally.
"Are you a friend?" she said.
"Yes, a very old friend," I answered.
"I'm sorry to have to tell you this," she said. "Sally had been working part-time the last few years because she was sick. She died five weeks ago."
Before I could hang up she said, "Wait a minute, did you say your name was Wayne?"
"Yes" I answered.
"Well, Sally left a message for you. She wrote it down in case you called. Let me read it to you."
The note said, "Tell him there are other worlds to sing in. He'll know what I mean."
I thanked her and hung up. I knew what Sally meant."
The above story is one you may have seen before - I do not know the original author. It was sent to me and I got teary as I read it. Quite a few lessons in Wayne's story.

Desire & Need
The question I get asked most often is "What is the one thing I have to do to be successful that would make the biggest difference in my life?"
When I ask that question in my seminars people guess all sorts of things like goals, affirmations, focus, work, belief, law of attraction etc. What do you think it is?
I asked Bob Proctor the same question in January 2006 as I was putting together "The Secret To Wealth: Mind & Money Strategies" seminar that I invited him to be a guest presenter at. Bob said exactly the same thing I had been teaching people for years:
The most important action that anyone can do is "DECIDE" ... decide exactly what it is you want. Not what you think you can have or get, not what you can afford or do now, but rather what it is that you truely desire with all your heart and soul. What you would have, do an be if you had a magic wand just for yourself! That might sound crazy, but the fact is that most people don't know what it is they want. The truth is that once you decide your life and the universe start to change! I don't have the time and space to write all the reasons and effects here ... but I will cover some of them in time. To say it simply. The Power works in and through you and can only deliver according to the image you hold!
Get hold of my first "How To Apply The Secret Step-by-Step" DVD & CD series which covers DESIRE & NEED ... and tells you how to find out what is your true desire. This is a series of steps I have put together to help people get massive results from The Secret.

The Secret & Christians
This may be somewhat contraversial ... however I think it needs to be discussed.
The Secret DVD & Book has done amazing things to lift the awareness of the world in regards to the one of the laws of the universe - the Law of Attraction. I am proud to be part of such awakening and heightened awareness.
The Secret has been put down by many Christians as "New Age" thinking; by others it has been heralded as a major breakthrough that God really does desire abundance for His children. Who is right and who is wrong? Is The Secret really the work of Satan?
When The Secret first came out a devout 'born again' Christian and friend of mine called me up quite concerned. He wanted to know my view on The Secret and where it fits into God's word. I will share with you what I told him ... now understand that I'm by no means an expert on the Bible and interpretation ... I have been reading and studying it on and off for as long as I could read (I'm 44 now!) I still get excited by its message - one thing I am certain of is that EVERYTHING we need to know about how to live and how to think is in the Bible. I can not comment on other spiritual writings or beliefs because I have not studied them.
To understand my viewpoint on The Secret and Christians I will take you back to how The Secret was created.
Some 57 people in Australia and United States were filmed by the producer Rhonda Byrne and her production crew. None of what any Teacher said on The Secret was scripted. We were all asked a few questions separately. Most Teachers were in separate locations around the world. No-one knew what others had said, and many of The Teachers did not know the other Teachers before The Secret came out. None of us were told really what the DVD was going to be about expect that it was the Law of Attraction. No-one knew who was going to end up being on the final cut until after it was completed. There ended up being 24 Teachers from the initial 57 (my figures are approximate), and I am extremely grateful for my small involvement.
Back to the topic ... I believe that the greatest danger when some people watch The Secret is that they think that they are God, in other words they are the creator. The Secret does not go far enough with telling the viewer what or who is the power behind the creation process. Some people will say "I call the creative power the universe", or "I call the creative power universal consciousness" or "I call the power energy", well Christians call this creative, all knowing, always present, all powerful creative power God, Father, Elohim, Jehovah, Lord, Devine Being etc.
Now the Bible tells us in Genesis 1:26 that we are created in the image and likeness of God (our creator), meaning we are 'God like' but it NEVER says we are God. We have the power to co-create with God but not create alone.
Some people watch The Secret and then think all they have to do is visualise what they want and hum and money etc will fall out of the sky into their lap. The bad news is "It Doesn't!" The good news is by understanding, knowledge and ACTION it will. The Bible tells us that Faith without action is dead! (James 2:17)
There is so much more to write about this topic ... but I will leave these thoughts with you for now.

They have eyes but cannot see ...
Here is an email I received recently:
The message of hope and faith are forgotten tools in our society yet powerful awakeners to the spirit in times of need.
Albert Einstein said once......... "Great spirits always meet violent opposition from mediocre minds."
The spirit listens with both mind and heart, the assimilation of the two is called intuition. It is our deepest knowing, doing so allows us to recognize truth when we hear it. When doninated with mind only, people seek physical proof of everything and strive for control over everything.
Fear strikes hard at these people who are rudderless without their sensory being. How can they see intangible concepts? How can they feel safe when there are no guarantees? It is EGO
folly that plays the largest part in their lives and therefore it becomes essential to them that they are RIGHT.
WHO said it? "There are none so blind as those that cannot see?"
Keep going with the good work of empowering people with connection to their own spirits, it overcomes fear and seeks out action in otherwise frozen situations.
My hearty congratulations.
Sincerely,
Name Withheld

The Seven Major Negative Emotions (To be avoided)
I stumbled across someones blog today ... it was written about me and The Secret, and 4 nameless people made negative comments - all claiming to understand The Secret and live it in their lives.
Teachers down throughout all generations have warned us about gossip, hearsay, the naysayers, the muck rakers ... generally those who take delight in pulling their fellow man down. You see, in life some people only get up by pulling others down - they appear to get some satisifacton by seeing others fail rather then direct their energies into lifting up their fellow man.
My father, now in his 70's, spent his life working hard and earning a living off the land. He told us 7 kids that before we speak we should always ask ourselves 3 questions:
- Is it true? (not is it true because some else told me, that's gossip, but is it really true - if not, don't say it)
- Is it helpful? (If it is not helpful don't say it)
- Will it hurt them or someone else? (This is the hardest one for most people, if it will hurt someone don't say it. If it is about someone else and doesn't build them up, don't say it!!)
Wouldn't this world be a different and amazing place if each person asked those questions before they said or wrote something. We wouldn't have any of the negative crap on tv, radio, newspaper, internet ... we would all know a peace never before understood in this world.
Napoleon Hill said that there are 7 Major Negative emotions to be avoided at all costs. Positive and negative emotions cannot occupy the mind at the same time. And like attracts like - many people do not realise that as they project out negative stuff to others, that's ALL they can get back. It is also wonderful that as we project out positive emotions to other people, that is exactly what we get back to.
A perfect example is that a woman who worked for me recently got very bitter and angry because she was used to getting everything she wanted - this one time she never, so she told me that she would do everything she could to destroy me. Sadly, this woman has had 2 breast cancer scares within 12 months - those who seek to destroy, destroy themselves because that is the Law of Attraction!
Here are the 7 Major Negative Emotions to be avoided:
- Fear
- Jealousy
- Hatred
- Revenge
- Greed
- Superstition
- Anger
Hill went on to say, "The presence of a single negative in your conscious mind is sufficient to destroy all changes of constructive aid from your subconscious mind."

As A Man Thinketh
"You will be what you will be;
Let failure find its false content
In that poor world, 'enviroment,'
But spirit scorns it, and is free."
"It masters time, it conquers space;
It cows that boastful trickster, Chance,
And bids the tyrant Circumstance
Uncrown, and fill a servant's place."
"The human Will, that force unseen,
The offspring of a deathless Soul,
Can hew a way to any goal,
Though walls of granite intervene."
"Be not impatient in delay,
But wait as one who understands;
When spirit rises and commands,
The gods are ready to obey."

Faith
Bob Proctor said, “Comparatively few people today realise just how much faith in oneself has to do with achievement, because the great majority of people never seem to conceive of faith as being a genuine creative force. Yet the truth is that, not only is Faith a bonfide power, but it is the greatest one you will ever encounter. In fact, I would go as far as to say that whatever you accomplish in your lifetime, will be in direct proportion to the intensity and persistence of your faith.”
Matthew 17:20 And He said to them, "Because of the littleness of your faith; for truly I say to you, if you have faith the size of a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there,' and it will move; and nothing will be impossible to you."
What is Faith?
“Faith is the ability to see the invisible – to believe in the incredible. That is what the masses think is impossible.” – Clarence Smithison
Heb 11: 1 "Now faith is a well-grounded assurance of that for which we hope, and a conviction of the reality of things which we do not see."
Napoleon Hill – “Faith is the head chemist of the mind, when faith is blended with thought; the subconscious mind instantly picks up the vibration, translates it into its spiritual equivalent and transmits it to Infinite Intelligence, as in the case of prayer.”
Faith is a state of mind that you develop at will.
How does one get or increase faith?
Faith is a state of mind which may be induced, or created, by affirmation or repeated instructions to the subconscious mind, through the principle of auto-suggestion.
Both poverty and riches are the offspring of faith.

We must allow the Power to work through us!
In her book 'Your Insivable Power', Genieve Behrend said, "We must not fly in the face of the Law expecting it to do for us what it can only do through us; and we must therefore use our intelligence with the knowledge that it is acting as the instrument of a great intelligence; and because we have thiknowledge we may and should cease from all anxiety as to the final result."
Many people just want good things to happen and want abundance and yet doubt about whether it can happen or worry about the worst happening. This is totally against the Law (or, if you are like me I prefer to replace the word Law with God), we must LET God, let the power, let the Law work through us without being anxious about whether the end result will happen or not!
I think Jesus said it so well when he told us in Mark 11, 24 "For this reason I say to you, Whatever you make a request for in prayer, have faith that it has been given to you, and you will have it."
Note the words "Have faith that it HAS been given to you ... and you WILL have it" Some translations say "If you have faith..." or "If you believe..."
There are conditions of receiving and that is first of all asking, then believing you have it already!!! Interesting isn't it?

The Truth Is Alway The Truth!
I recieved this email recently, I though I would share it with you:
... I just want to thank you and all the others who have contributed to changing millions of peoples lives including mine.
I do not watch the TV programmes unless they give me a good feeling, or read the papers (which I have not done for many years). I believe everything I have experienced and done has bought me to receive what you guys testimonied about. Now all I need to do is believe I am receiving all good now and especially money from others means than earning!!!!
I flipped through the book I received from you and your DVD's and decided I would not listen to them until I believed I could follow what you are offering. So I have not listened to these yet so I do not need any bribe and I definitely do not listen to negativety, someone tried to tell me about it but I changed the conversation. I believed God provides all good things so the other is not from God (or the universe but from bad thinking, blaming ungrateful people).
I just want to thank you again, I am so grateful for the changes you bring in my life. I very much relate to where you were, so if you can remind me of exactly what you did at that time to change your beliefs, confidence, to drive away doubt I would love that.
Thank you once again.
You know just sitting here writing to you and being able to do this, there are thousands of people I am grateful to for providing everything I have to be able to do this.
I have tears in my eyes and feel so good, I know it is love and that is so beautiful.
Thank you

A beautiful story
NEED WASHING?
A little girl had been shopping with her Mom in Target. She must have been 6 years old - this beautiful red haired, freckle faced image of innocence. It was pouring outside. The kind of rain that gushes over the top of rain gutters, so much in a hurry to hit the earth it has no time to flow down the spout. We all stood there under the awning and just inside the door of the Target.
We waited, some patiently, others irritated because nature messed up their hurried day. I am always mesmerized by rainfall. I got lost in the sound and sight of the heavens washing away the dirt and dust of the world. Memories of running, splashing so carefree as a child came pouring in as a welcome reprieve from the worries of my day.
The little voice was so sweet as it broke the hypnotic trance we were all caught in "Mom, let's run through the rain," she said.
"What?" Mom asked.
"Lets run through the rain!" She repeated.
"No, honey. We'll wait until it slows down a bit," Mom replied.
This young child waited about another minute and repeated: "Mom, let's run through the rain."
"We'll get soaked if we do," Mom said.
"No, we won't, Mom. That's not what you said this morning," the young girl said as she tugged at her Mom's arm. This morning? When did I say we could run through the rain and not get wet?
"Don't you remember? When you were talking to Daddy about his cancer, you said, 'If God can get us through this, he can get us through anything!"
The entire crowd stopped dead silent. I swear you couldn't hear anything but the rain. We all stood silently. No one came or left in the next few minutes.
Mom paused and thought for a moment about what she would say. Now some would laugh it off and scold her for being silly. Some might even ignore what was said. But this was a moment of affirmation in a young child's life. A time when innocent trust can be nurtured so that it will bloom into faith.
"Honey, you are absolutely right. Let's run through the rain. If GOD let's us get wet, well maybe we just needed washing," Mom said. Then off they ran.
We all stood watching, smiling and laughing as they darted past the cars and yes, through the puddles. They held their shopping bags over their heads just in case. They got soaked. But they were followed by a few who screamed and laughed like children all the way to their cars.
And yes, I did. I ran. I got wet. I needed washing.
Circumstances or people can take away your material possessions, they can take away your money, and they can take away your health. But no one can ever take away your precious memories ... So, don't forget to make time and take the opportunities to make memories everyday.
To everything there is a season and a time to every purpose under heaven.
I HOPE YOU STILL TAKE THE TIME TO RUN THROUGH THE RAIN. They say it takes a minute to find a special person, an hour to appreciate them, a day to love them, but then an entire life to forget them. Slow down and take time to live... Keep in touch with your friends - and don't forget to run in the rain!

Fear
Genevieve Behrend wrote “Fear should be entirely banished from your consciousness in order for you to obtain possession of the things you want.”
Napoleon Hill said that fear is nothing more then a state of mind and that there are 6 basic fears:
- Poverty;
- Criticism;
- Ill health;
- Lost love;
- Old age;
- Death.
Read The Six Ghosts Of Fear in “Think and Grow Rich.” Amazing how we try to disguise our fear!

How To Deal With The 'Down' Times
This morning I spoke with members of my Inner Circle MasterMind group. Two people said that they were finding it difficult to pull themselves out of a slump of negative thinking especially when finances became a challenge.
We are conditioned to think what can go wrong, so when something doesn't work out how we planned or thought it should, if money doesn't show up as quickly as we want, it is so easy for most people to start to think of everything that can go wrong. The more we think of what can go wrong, the more doubt and worry we have, and the greater the fear we feel. It becomes a downward spiral of self-doubt, worry, fear and anxiety. We can even get to the point of feeling so totally overwhelmed that we cannot even force ourselves to think creatively, feel positive or even feel a sense of gratitude. This ultimately leads to hopelessness, depression and even suicide! Sadly, the future can seem so dark and grim that even death seems a better option - it almost certainly leads to the death of dreams and an unhappy, unfulfilled life.
Wallace D Wattles wrote in his book "The Science of Getting Rich" that the hardest activity for a human being is to think the TRUTH regardless of appearances. See, the truth is each one of us has unlimited boundless potential, money is unlimited, health is unlimited, happiness is unlimited, love is unlimited, The universe is unlimited, God is unlimited. What we do is create the limitation by looking at our past or present conditions and circumstances. To move out of any sort of a slump we MUST look to the future and we MUST look at what MUST go right instead of what may go wrong.
If you are experiencing self-doubt, worry, fear, anxiety ... here are a few things you can do:
- Go for a 15 minute brisk walk and overload your mind with positive affirmations about yourself. Say: "I will win. Why? Because I have Faith, Courage and Enthusiasm." or "I was created after the image and likeness of God, therefore all the power that created the universe is also within me, to co-create my world exactly how I want it to be. I feel total abundance flowing to me now!" Talk these aloud ... even shout them out!
- Get VERY clear and specific about how you want your life to look. "Without hope people perish." Whenever we are down it is because we are not clear about what we want in our lives or we are not focused on it. You MUST take time EVERY SINGLE DAY to write out your new life and meditate on it. The more emotion and energy you dedicate to it the more rapidly your life will change.
- Put on some lively music.
- Call a friend who looks at what can go right. We get so buried in our own emotional stuff that we cannot see outside. A person who is not emotionally involved in the situation and supports you and your dreams can be the biggest asset you have.
- Get to work! Just start working on a project or something to take your mind off what could go wrong.
- Take time every day to write out 20 solutions. Do this for 7 days and do not stop each day until you have 20 solutions.
- Listen to a personal development CD every day.
Get hold of my Aussie Born Rich program - I explain in it the complete worry/fear process and how to get out of it. Play it over and over again and watch miracles happen.
Remember: We can focus on the bills or we can focus on abundance, we have the choice!

Adversity & The Secret
Many people think that because you understand and use The Secret ( or better named 'The Law Of Vibration' which is the foundation of 'The Law Of Attraction') then you are immune from adversity - actually the opposite is true.
Wallace D Wattles in his book "The Science Of Getting Rich" wrote that "All physical and mental science is based on one great law an its seven subsidiary laws which operate in co-ordination with each other." That means if we attempt to explain circumstances using only The Secret we will at best blame the universe or God!!! People say "Oh! I guess I must have been thinking something wrong;" or "I just don't understand, I was doing all the right things."
There is the 'Law of Cause and Effect' (often referred to as sowing and reaping) and the 'Law Of Polarity'. If we want to have more, do more and be more than we already are, then something must change within us. Our thoughts, feelings and actions have got us to were we are now, but they will not serve us to become more then who we are now.
We may not be totally happy and fulfilled with our present situation, but it is comfortable (we know it.) We usually do not seek to make large mental shifts in our conscious thinking until and unless we are faced with enough adversity to make us change.
It's a bit like a large ship at sea ... it sails directly from one port to another except to change course to navigate around a land mass. We keep on going in the same direction, hoping for change but comfortable in our familiarity. It is only when we are faced with huge adversity do we look for another route or direction. Then we look back at the huge challenges we faced and realise that we would not have made the change in direction or changes in our thoughts, feelings and actions had we not had the adversity! It's the adversity that makes us who we are and allows us to enjoy our new found joy, happiness and abundance.
So when you are facing massive adversity, and at times it feels almost unbearable, remember that it is only through adversity that we become who we need to be to reach our goals.
Napoleon Hill in the chapter on Persistence in his book "Think & Grow Rich" wrote it so well when he said that "every failure brings with it the seed of an equivalent benefit."

How To Attract Abundance with Commision Sales
An email I received recently:
Hey David Schirmer ! Thank you so much for being my friend, and being supportive of my dreams.
I had a rough day at work today, and I feel as though a client of mine betrayed me. But I have found a way to let it go and practice the principles in the law of attraction, as well as the four agreements.
To tell you the story, I spent several hours two different weekends showing my clients houses, only for them to call another Realtor off a yard sign and write up a contract. I was so hurt and angry about this - I called my broker on the phone crying. Not only because I thought these clients were loyal to me, but because I spent so many hours of my time when I could have been holding open houses, cold calling, etc. Also, if they would have written the contract with me - I would have made close to $2,500 on the sale. Also, I work on commission only - so all of the work and time I put into finding my clients a home I did for nothing.
Anyway, the reason I am sharing this with you is because at the point when I was angry - I wanted to cuss out my clients and the other Realtor (who knew I was working with them) but my business partner reminded me of my principles, and told me just to let it go. Then something clicked inside of me that there was just no way around it - I needed to forgive my clients and the other Realtor.
Because holding on to negative energy, which means hatred, resentment, envy, etc. will do nothing but attract more of the same energy into my life! That is when I was reminded of how many loyal, honest and sinere people I have around me - such as my broker who listened to me cry, my loan officer who I was able to go next door to and cry some more, my business partner who reminds me of what is important - and of course, my friends like you - who are so supportive, kind and encouraging. Just your presense uplifts my spirits and makes me feel so much better about my life.
My Answer:
Thank you for sharing your experience.
What you just went through happens to everyone on commission ... most people don't realise that they attract the circumstance to them.
To Forgive means "Thank you for-giving me this experience!"
Understand that because you 'missed out' on the $2500 commission you didn't really. See if we understand the money is in infinite abundant supply then it can never be taken from us. We then start to working on the creative plane rather than the competive plane and know that much more is on its way to us. We never need to compete for money, or anything else for that matter. All we have to do is see it coming and get ready to recieve it ... which means to mentally prepare by creating the picture of the exact amount already in our posession.
Now you need to focus on how you want the next situation to be. Create a very powerful and emotional picture of loyal, honest clients coming to you with little or no effort on your behalf, see them signing your contracts, then thanking you for the wonderful job you did of finding their new home for them ... then see them referring their friends to you. Before long you will have so many clients that you will be grateful for this $2,500 lesson.
By the way, had you not had this lesson, you wouldn't have emailed me and got this guidance!
Yours in abundance
David

We have lost everything ... what do we do now?
I thought I would post on here some of the emails I get sent and my responses that they might help someone else:
Question: I hope this gets to Mr Schirmer, we would love to learn what he has to say but unfortunately we have become sceptics as we have lost hundreds of thousands of dollars (in fact our lifetime savings) through offshore seminars, trading programmes etc etc. Mr Schirmer can you restore our faith once again in getting back what has been stolen from us. I truly believe you will help us. My husband is 70 (very healthy and has a good mind ) and I am 68 in the same condition. We have lost everything in wanting to create wealth but sadly been taken "BIG TIME" Watched the secret last night and we are so excited that something good is going to happen to us. Blessings to you Mr Schirmer.
My Response: There are so many scans out there it is hard for the average person to determine what is truth.
I would like to give you a couple of suggestions to help you on the journey to abundance:
Firstly, you must let go of all resentment of whatever money you have lost. Resentment and Guilt are two of the biggest emotions that hold people back for getting what they truly desire. Easy to say, often not so easy to do! While ever we focus on what we haven't got or what was 'stolen' from us we cannot receive the abundance the universe has in store for us. Do not any longer think of or speak about your loss. Remove anything that reminds you of the experience.
Next you MUST create the picture of EXACTLY what you desire - how do you want your life to look in say 5 years time? We will ALWAYS get what we focus on ... if you fear losing something or not having it, your fear will be realised! If you focus, think and speak about the absolute abundance you desire and live in the emotional state of that desire, the universe must correspond in like state. Your physical realm will start to change so dramatically you will be amazed.
Then I suggest study the mind ... when you get to the realisation that the universe is only for growth and abundance (If we experience anything less then it is because we are going against the Laws of The Universe) then you will live without any fear and in absolute abundance.
I suggest you read & STUDY the following material:
Think & Grow Rich - Napoleon Hill
You Were Born Rich - Bob Proctor
The Science of Getting Rich - Wallace D Wattles
DO NOT do any courses or seminar with anyone unless it follows the principles of The Secret and the above mentioned books.
